BCRS aim to offer business loans to businesses that have a positive influence on the financial well-being of the West Midlands. We have a wide range of loans obtainable which includes working capital purchasing of equipment, marketing and recruitment. We also finance a lot of market sectors like engineering, construction, manufacturing, IT services, wholesalers and service providers. Our online loan offers are between £10,000 and £150,000.

In November 2017 the Black Country Chamber of Commerce announced that BCRS Loan Limited was the prestigious winner of Small Business of the year at the annual awards ceremony

This was soon followed by the shortlisting for the crowning of Small Business award in 2018 at the Nachural Summer Business Ball.

Additionally, we were recognised by Small Co-op- Big achievers awards from the Cooperatives in the UK.

Some history of our amazing organisation

In earlier years, we saw a moderate growth centred on the providing of loans to organisations, social enterprises and small businesses in the Black County who were unable to access finance from traditional foundations such as banks. But this was only the beginning…

From the year 2007 to 2010, we experienced significant growth thru annual loaning which increased to £2.3m across approximately one hundred small businesses and some social enterprises within Staffordshire and the Black Country. Our individual loan values range between £10,000 and £50,000.

By the year 2013, the concern of accessing finance had increased following the global economic crisis; we managed to make £4.3m of loans in that year single-handedly to nearly 150 businesses thru the West Midlands with finances offered up to £100,000. Needless to say, we were proud to be placed as one of the major responsible Finance Providers in the United Kingdom.

Our Most successful year to date was in 2015 when BCRS funded long and short-term loans to the value of £6.5 million. We received national acknowledgement for the way we lead as well as the way we offered and managed our support to individuals by being accredited as an Investor in people but we were also the first lender in the United Kingdom to be presented with the European code of good conduct for microcredit provision.
